Administrators Note

I am so excited to begin my journey with Mountain View Care Center. My first day was on September 30th, where I go to meet a very eager team and the feeling of a ‘family’ atmosphere. The town of Boulder City is a wonderful location and I enjoy the quaint hometown feel it offers.

I come from Moab Utah where I lived for 40 years. I was the City Treasurer in Moab for 5 years and then started into the Nursing Home profession in 2003. I have been and administrator in Skilled Nursing since 2007 and moved to Las Vegas in 2014.

I have raised 6 beautiful children, 3 boys and 3 girls. I now am enjoying being a grandmother of 6 boys and 3 girls. They are truly my greatest accomplishment and I am a believer your heart follows your children wherever they are. Unfortunately, none of my children live in Las Vegas so my heart is all over the place.

Loving what you do is key to the role of an Administrator, and I believe that is why I have worked in only 3 buildings in my career and now this will be number 4. Having an opportunity to help our Residents, often in the hardest time in their life and to make a difference, is a blessing. Meeting the people who care for them and seeing their strong commitment puts this Administrator in awe. I plan on getting to know every employee and to begin my introduction to our little community with our Residents.
